True Assignments versus False Assignments
To everything there is a season and a time for every matter or purpose under the heaven Ecclesiastes 3-1. Everything that God has ordained and established has a purpose; this purpose will help you fulfill your assignment. True assignments have been given to operate and function and to fulfill purpose within the purpose. There is a measure of grace for the assignment, it is the Holy Spirit. He helps each individual accomplish the tasks within their assignment. We can call this Grace for Grace. There are many assignments, but we are talking about God - given assignments. Our heavenly Father has purposed that each believer will become rooted and grounded in the things of God so that we can walk in greater level of maturity.
The word assignment means to set apart, to appoint, to designate something or someone for a lesson or task. To fulfill our task, we must have a clear understanding about the things God has given each of us - firstly individually as well as corporately. The greater the task the greater the grace to accomplish the task. True assignments are designed by God to perfect and fully equip believers for the work of ministry. This is the purpose of the assignment of the Five Fold Ministry. Their task is to build the church and develop the church for the purpose of unity in the faith. The comprehension of the full and accurate knowledge of the Son of God having this genuine knowledge will help us mature and give us accurate discernment. It is so that we are not tossed to and fro like ships between chance gusts of teaching and wavering with every changing wind of doctrine. This would make us susceptible to false teachings and assignments that are designed to mislead and hinder us.
Ephesian 4: 11-14 states that this is the day when many seducing spirits have deceived many and doctrine of devils are released. We must renew our minds in the word of God and be aware of the devices of Satan. The bible warns us not to be ignorant of Satan devices because he will take advantage over us. This is the time that we must be vigilant and sober because of the adversary - the devil desire is to devour us and allure us into error. This is the basic of all false assignments and they will always foster chaos, confusion, disunity, disharmony, strife, and contention. So, know with out a shadow of doubt, what your assignment and purpose is in the Kingdom of God.
