Monthly Prayer
"We Pray for Mercy for the Generation"
Our Father which art in Heaven Holy be your name. We come collectively unto you this day. Oh Father, we thank you for your hand of mercy being extended toward us and our generation this day. Oh Father you are a holy God, a Righteous Father. As we come to you this day we ask for forgiveness for this land. You sought for a man among them that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before you, for the land, that you should not destroy it. Father we make a decision to stand in the gap this day and we submit to the call of prayer. We stand in the gap making up the hedge for this generation.
Father, we turn our hearts unto you and we ask for your forgiveness for our land. Father, you declared that "if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land". We repent of sins of omission, and sins of commission. We renounce and denounce the sins that we have participated in,that has opened the door for desolation, destruction and damnation, we repent, we ask for your forgiveness, we ask for deliverance. You are Jeshuah, the God that saves. You are our salvation and we stand in the gap, we ask that your hand of mercy would be extended. Oh God, you declared that even in your wrath you would REMEMBER MERCY. We are asking for mercy for this generation. Father you declared that if you would regard and punish for the iniquity of man, who would stand. Father we ask for a cleansing to manifest in the lives of your people first and then in the land.
Father, as Daniel prayed for his generation so we pray for ours. We set ourselves to seek your face, give us your heart and mind concerning crucial matters. We make supplication this day. Oh Lord, you are a great and awesome God! You always fulfill your covenant and keep your promises of unfailing love to those who love you and obey your commands, but we have sinned and done wrong. We have rebelled against you and scorned your commands and regulation; we have refused to listen to your servants the prophets who spoke on behalf of your authority to our kings, princes, and ancestors and to the people of the land. Oh Lord, you are within your rights, but Father as you can see our hearts are grieved and in shame, because of the killing in our land.
